The Advanced Equine Dry Needling course is a hybrid course with an online theory component and one day of in-person training, designed exclusively for professionals who have successfully completed the Myopain Seminars Equine Dry Needling course. This advanced-level course expands on the foundational principles of equine dry needling, introducing new muscle applications, refined needling techniques, and clinical decision-making strategies for complex equine myofascial conditions.
Participants will learn to treat additional equine muscles not covered in the Equine Dry Needling course, focusing on deeper, more challenging structures. This course is designed for veterinarians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and chiropractors seeking to enhance their proficiency and confidence in equine dry needling.

Course Objectives
At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to:
• Apply advanced clinical reasoning principles to identify clinically relevant myofascial pain in equine patients.
• Select appropriate muscles for treatment based on clinical assessment, functional presentation, and movement analysis.
• Integrate palpation findings with biomechanical and functional assessment to support clinical decision-making.
• Understand the clinical implications of referred pain and its relevance in equine myofascial pain.
• Recognize the role of dry needling within a broader rehabilitation and functional recovery approach.
• Demonstrate safe and accurate dry needling technique in additional clinically important muscles not covered in the basic course.

Successful completion of the Myopain Seminars Equine Dry Needling course.
