Begin Your Journey to Certification with Dry Needling 1: Foundations I Embark on becoming a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT) through Myopain Seminars, starting with the DN-1 Foundations I course. Second of three courses required to receive certification with Myopain Seminars Dry Needling Program as a CMTPT. The DN-2 Foundations II course builds on the knowledge and skills of the DN-1 course. Students will be introduced to the clinical aspects of myofascial pain, peripheral and central sensitization.

The Fu Subcutaneous Needling - American Version Course (FSN) is designed to provide students with a comprehensive introduction to fascial needling by areas of the body utilizing ROM assessment, treatment skills, and techniques specific to the field of myofascial pain and muscle dysfunction.

An advanced DN course. Formerly Called - Mastery & Update of Dry Needling, this course addresses questions clinicians may have after completing the CMTPT Certification and using DN skills in their practice for a while. This course also meets the recertification requirements.

Required for Upper Quadrant Dry Needling Certification. The Upper Quadrant Dry Needling 2 course features lectures on the scientific basis and etiology of myofascial pain and peripheral and central sensitization. This course used to be known as the OT/CH DN-2 course.

External-Focus Exercise + Pain Science

The course will combine an in-depth review of challenging dry needling techniques combined with detailed clinical anatomical and dissection studies presented in the context of dry needling. We will challenge common belief systems about anatomy, explore the relationship between muscles and fascia in different areas of the body, and consider the clinical implications of these anatomical relationships.

The ODN course program is currently being redesigned. The new course is expected to be available in the Spring of 2026.
